Upcoming Calendar of Dances
QCD holds monthly dances, on either the First OR Third Sunday afternoon
of every month.
Admission to the dance is $6.00 (cash or checks only). Children 14 years of age
and under dance free of charge. No childcare is
provided - parents should read the information on the
For Parents page.
The Newcomer's Workshop begins at 1:30 p.m. This is a teaching
session, during which the caller teaches some basic dance figures and explains
how the dance is oriented and some basic dance conventions. ANYONE NEW
to English Country &/or American Contra dancing is encouraged to attend the orientation.

The regular dance begins at 2:00 p.m. with part of the time devoted to
English Country Dancing and the balance to Contra Dancing.

is at the Life Enrichment Center at 1340 McConnell Drive, in Decatur.

All QCD dances are
held in an alcohol- and drug-free, non-smoking environment.
Dancers should wear non-marring shoes -- either dance shoes or rubber
soled sneakers/shoes, or plan to dance in socks!
